Pavers celebrate family memories

Allan Casey and his family Allan Casey and his family
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Friends and family members are celebrated at the annual Phoebe Paver dedication.

Engraved bricks are added to a pathway in front of Phoebe hospital. The project helps phoebe grow programs and gives people the opportunity to celebrate a birth, or memorialize loved ones.

Allan Casey and his father bought a brick for his mother who passed in 1987 and he now has a brick for his father who passed in January.   "It's an honor it's an honor I'm trying not to choke up but it's an honor," said Allan Casey.

"Bill Green used to be in charge of landscaping here came up with the idea years ago as a means of honoring and memorialize our loved ones from there it grew and grew," said Larry Hockman, Phoebe Foundation Chairman.

To purchase a brick call 229-312 GIVE (4483 or visit their website at wwwsupportphoebe.org
