A Coffee County man is in jail accused of violently killing a puppy outside a convenience store. Investigators say he killed the dog in the parking lot of a 7-11 in Ambrose May 2nd.
Deputies pulled him over shortly after the incident and say he was drunk and uncooperative, and they tased him.
The puppy killing was captured on surveillance video, but officials will not release it.
"He just picked the puppy up and slammed its head against the concrete and then stomped it, then threw it in a ditch and drove away," said Sheriff Doyle Wooten.
Harrell also admitted he was growing marijuana at his home.
He faces charges including Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, Obstruction, DUI, and manufacturing marijuana.
