Lee County deputies used a towel to capture a baby gator Monday night.
A motorist reported the two foot long gator in the middle of Palmyra Road in South Lee County.
When deputies arrived, the gator tried to scamper up a dirt embankment.
After he slid back down, a deputy covered his head with a towel and grabbed him.
After wrangling with him for a few minutes, deputies put him into a Sheriff's vehicle and drove him to some nearby water.
The gator is fine.
