CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Five Southern Custom Rods have been awarded to anglers for their participation in sponsorship of the "FISHERMEN FOR THE HUNGRY" School Back Pack Program.

After receiving fifty $7.50 entries each drawing, a total $1,900.00  has been raised so far towards supplying School Back Packs for needy children.

The program is sponsored by Northern Heights Baptist Church in Cordele, and Feeding South GA. Food Bank in Albany.

The rods are life time warranty rods supplied by Southern Customer Rods and valued at $200.00 each.
