ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Its said that it could cost nearly $8,000 to cover payments for Nunley's funeral and so far they have been able to collect a fraction of that, around $2600. They say a donation of any amount will help, they just want to go what they can to help for someone they loved so dearly.

It was last Monday when family and friends were stunned to hear that 23 year-old Jeffery Nunley was gunned down outside his home. It happened on West Whitney Avenue in Albany, officials were called to the scene around 9pm to find Nunley but no gunman in sight.

APD was only able to learn what this shooter was possibly wearing at the time, a red shirt and jean shorts, and since no new information has come in. They have been reaching out to the public to dig for answers but so has those close to Nunley.

His boss from Air Quality Services is offering a reward to anyone with information about Nunley's shooter that could lead to an arrest. As for his family, they have just been trying to cope. He leaves behind 2 young children and a fiancee.
