Congressman Jack Kingston says he's the only Senate candidate campaigning aggressively in South Georgia.
He stopped by Harvest Moon in Albany Friday to talk to voters. Analysts say Republicans can't afford to lose Saxby Chambliss's seat if they have any chance of regaining control of the Senate.
Kingston says he has a strong record on issues that are important to the area.
"I've been here many times. I've worked hard on agriculture issues, on military issues and on business issues," said Kingston. "I have a very strong conservative voting record. I'm a good fit for this area."
Primary election day is May 20th. With seven candidates in that race, a July runoff is likely.
