ALBANY, GA - (WALB) -

The Georgia State Patrol says three children and one adult were injured in an accident Thursday afternoon on Palmyra Road.

Troopers say a car driven by 24-year old Tommy Poole turned in front of a pickup truck at the Schley Avenue intersection.

Troopers say Poole left the scene and was later arrested at his home on Schley Avenue by Albany Police.

He has been charged with driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.

Troopers say Poole also had an outstanding arrest warrant in Ben Hill County.

All of the injured were riding in the pickup truck.

Troopers are on their way to the hospital to get their information.
