About 3:20 this morning, the Valdosta Police Department arrested Demarquez Bartee and Jacquez Gilbert in a traffic stop in the 900 Block of Northside Drive.

Bartee and Gilbert, were passengers in the vehicle, and were arrested without incident for the May 2nd shooting at 2533 Forrestwood Drive. The house was shot up, but luckily, no one was struck by bullets.

Detectives identified one other person involved, but have not yet obtained arrest warrants on him.

During the initial response and investigation, detectives arrested Charles Little, 17, and Justin Foster, 18, and a 16 year old juvenile for obstruction, after they lied to detectives about what had occurred and for trying to persuade witnesses not to talk to detectives and officers who were on scene.
