Albany crash sends three to hospital


Three people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the 1800 block of West Highland, near Valencia.

Albany Police said it happened around 8:30. According to a report, Pamela Hawkins, 36, and Marcus Oliver, 36, were traveling east on W. Highland Avenue in a Hyundai Sante Fe when Hawkins failed to yield after a stop sign, and collided with a Buick Park Avenue, driven by 43 year old Mack Robinson.

All three were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. There was no immediate word on their conditions.

Hawkins was cited for failure to yield after a stop sign.
