JACKSONVILLE, FL (WALB) -

More than 10 Harveys locations will close temporarily across Southwest Georgia in the next major step of the grocer's transition under the direction of their new ownership.

According to a release, the parent company of BI-LO and Winn-Dixie stores, Bi-Lo Holdings said it will begin minor renovations and system updates to 17 Harveys in Georgia.

The stores will close on May 17th and reopen by May 24th.

Upon reopening, these Harveys stores will have completed the final step in the conversion process and officially join the Bi-Lo Holdings family of supermarkets.
