In 2014, the Tift County Blue Devils snagged the state basketball title that had eluded them for 18 years.
For the team's seniors, it was the perfect way to end that chapter of their careers.
On Monday, three of them began the next chapter.
Rashawn Canady, Ladarius Stewart, and DJ Bryant each signed national letters of intent Monday afternoon.
Bryant, who led the Devils with 21 points in the state championship game, is headed to play at Savannah State. He is the second Tift player to sign with a D-I school this season, and fourth in the last two years.
Stewart will be going west.
The 6'1 guard signed to play with the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds. ENMU plays in Division II's Lone Star Conference.
Canady will be staying a little closer to home, signing with Albany Tech and head coach Sylvester Patterson.
The 6'4 small forward averaged 4.2 points per game for Tift County in 2014.
