    An overnight crash involving semi truck turned deadly on Interstate 75 in Crisp County.According to Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock, a car suffered a blowout and came to a rest in the traffic lane of I-75 south near exit 94.While awaiting assistance from a deputy, a tractor trailer slammed into the back of the car. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and killed.It happened around 1:45 AM.The truck driver was not seriously injured.The Georgia State Patrol and the GDOT are investigating.T...More >>

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta police are looking for two more suspects believed to be involved in a shooting that happened on Friday, in which the home at 2533 Forrestwood Drive was hit by gunfire.

18 year-old Demarquez Bartee and 18 year-old Jacquez Gilbert, both of Valdosta, are wanted for their involvement . An arrest warrant has been issued for Bartee for aggravated assault. An arrest warrant for Gilbert has been issued for party to the crime of aggravated assault.

Valdosta Police sent out this release at 3:28 p.m. Monday afternoon:

Detectives with the Valdosta Police Department have identified two of the people involved in the Friday, May 2nd shooting at 2533 Forrestwood Drive as Demarquez Bartee, African American male, 18 years of age, and Jacquez Gilbert, African American male, 18 years of age, both Valdosta residents.

Arrest warrants have been obtained on Bartee for Aggravated Assault and on Gilbert for Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault. Detectives identified one other person involved, but have not yet obtained arrest warrants on him.

During the initial response and investigation, detectives arrested Charles Little, African American male, 17 years of age, Justin Foster, African American male, 18 years of age, and a 16 year old juvenile for obstruction after they lied to detectives about what had occurred and for trying to persuade witnesses not to talk to detectives and officers who were on scene.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Demarquez Bartee or Jacquez Gilbert, they are asked to call 911.

Further charges will be pending and no one was hurt during the incident.
