Cole Swindell honored with hometown signs

TERRELL CO., GA (WALB) -

Singer and song writer Cole Swindell is being honored by Terrell County officials with his own hometown signs.

Swindell is from the town of Bronwood in Terrell County.

The signs were presented to Swindell during a concert last month.

The Terrell County Chamber of Commerce says they want to show their support for Swindell and his accomplishments.

He landed a record deal while working for Luke Bryan and is currently on tour.

"We are just very proud of the success that Cole has had and how quickly he has had it. We are also very proud of how proud Cole is of his home town. He always says he's from the proud town of Bronwood Georgia. He even has a t-shirt that says Bronwood Georgia so he's bringing some light to his hometown," says Gina Webb with the Terrell County Chamber of Commerce.

Swindell, who worked as a songwriter in Nashville, landed a record deal after one of his songs took off on XM radio.
