LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is raising money for the Special Olympics of Georgia.

It's the sixth year for the Special Olympics Fundraiser Festival. People of all ages got to enjoy a variety of carnival games, vendors, and they even got to dunk Sheriff Reggie Rachals.  Rachals says it's important to support the Special Olympics.

"To where they can go out and enter into an Olympic thing and be part of an Olympic type athletic program and get awarded for it. Seeing them have their smiles on their faces when they actually get that award is just a blessing," said Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals.
