ALBANY, GA - (WALB) -

More than 200 Dougherty County Pre-K kids got a special treat today.

This is the 3rd year the Albany Downtown Sertoma Club put on a carnival for the kids.

It included lots of games and prizes, plus fresh popcorn, and a bounce house. Organizers say this is a reward for the students' hard work this year.

"To give back to small children who are our future is excellent. Not only with the Albany Downtown Sertoma Club here but the expand school is here so just continuing to partner with other individuals and especially teenagers shows the children they can grow up and do something else to," says president Jawah Ware.

The Albany Downtown Sertoma Club is a civic organization that works to help the school system and downtown.
