APD investigates Mediacom checks case

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Police Department wants help from the public identifying a man who has been cashing checks drawn on Mediacom accounts.

APD's Criminal Investigative Bureau says the man is wanted for questioning in reference to cashing checks belonging to Mediacom at several locations.

In several cases, he wears Mediacom shirts, and has a Mediacom badge that hangs from the collar. 

Anyone who has information regarding this person should call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or contact the Criminal Investigative Bureau at (229) 431-3288.

    Police found 26-year-old Michael Taylor shot at June Bug's Grocery store Friday night.  He died shortly after. The victim's co-workers said he was always willing to lend a hand. They believe that may have cost him his life.
