ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

With early voting underway, voters had a chance to meet three U.S. Senate candidates Thursday evening in Albany.

Columbus Army veteran Todd Robinson, Atlanta psychiatrist Branko Radulovacki and retired Atlanta journalist Steen Miles answered questions at a forum sponsored by the Dougherty County Democratic Party at Albany State tonight.

The favorite in the Democratic Senate Primary, Michelle Nunn, did not attend.

"We are so concerned about people becoming informed voters and when you go to the polls to vote, you need to know who you are voting for," said Dougherty County Democratic Committee chair Dr. Constance M. Burks. "So you need to have that contact, who you put in office determines what happens to you. You do not want people going to the polls just voting for a name."

Early voting runs through May 16th. Election day is May 20th.
