ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police say two suspects have been cleared and three others remain on the loose after an armed robbery in west Albany.

According to a report Thursday, the two men taken into custody have been eliminated as suspects in the case.

The robbery happened Wednesday around 4 p.m. at the H&K Food Mart on Westover Road.

In a second Police report, the victims of the robbery said two armed black men entered the store wearing masks, and tried to take money from the register.

Before they were able to get any money, a third person, believed to be a lookout, alerted them, and all three ran from the scene.

Officers urge anyone with information to call CrimeSTOPPERS at 446-TIPS.
