ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Crews are working to remove a large tree that fell on a building in Albany as strong storms rolled through.

Officials said the tree fell just before 1 p.m. Tuesday at 471 4th Ave. The building is owned by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Workers inside just heard the crash, and no one was near that area of the building.

"This building is a non-clinical facility. It just houses our billing for administrative billing personnel," said Barbara Concilio with Phoebe. "No one was injured, everyone is being relocated to existing facilities."

Officials will assess the building and determine if employees need to be relocated permanently.
