The city of Albany says the 2600 block of Wellington Drive will be closed to pump water out of a nearby pond to help minimize potential flooding with the rain that is forecast later this week.
The street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. between Devon and Forest Ridge Drives for the next few days.
A detour route on Devon, Tunbridge Lane and Forest Ridge Drive will be designated while city public works crews are pumping water out of the bond.
Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.
