Albany residents had a chance to hear more for candidates running for election in the May primaries.
City Commissioner Jon Howard organized the town hall meeting at the Law Enforcement Center in downtown Albany. Candidates running for Dougherty County Commission, School Board and the State House shared their platforms with voters.
"The purpose of this meeting today is for voters to come out and to get a sneak preview of the candidates who are running, listen to their platforms and also be aware of the issues that are at front them," said Ward 1 Commissioner Jon Howard.
Early voting starts on Monday. The state primary election is May the 20th.
