ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are trying to figure out who shot a young woman at a party late Friday night.

19 year-old Shianne Davis is recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police initially said a fight broke out at a football team party at the National Association of Letter Carriers building at 1709 West Oakridge Dr. around 11:10 p.m. and Davis realized she had been shot as she left the building. Now, police say it's unclear where the party was being held or where the shooting occurred. They were called to the Oakridge location.

Davis was treated at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Police have not made any arrests. Anyone with information can call in tips anonymously to the Crime Stoppers hotline at 436-TIPS.
