Autopsy shows Albany teen died of single stab wound

An autopsy on an Albany teenager killed this week confirms he was stabbed to death.

Medical examiners determined 19 year old Robert Soilberry died from a single knife wound to his heart.

The man who admits stabbing Soilberry says he did it in self defense when Soilberry tried to rob him as he sat in a car in a driveway in the 1900 block of Barnesdale Way late Tuesday night.

That man has not been charged as the investigation continues.

"You want to look at other things such as telephone records and other circumstances that created this situation," said Dougherty County D.A. Greg Edwards. "We'll look at all of these things and make a determination."

20 year old Aveontae Grier was arrested as Soilberry's accomplice. He's charged with two counts of robbery by force.
