ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A silent auction was held at Double Gate Country Club tonight ahead of tomorrow's Nancy Lopez hospice classic.

Lopez says she's happy for every dollar raised.

"When your a professional athlete and you can give back and help contribute by helping with any charity," Lopez said. "It's just very special, I think that people that have the opportunity to do that, when they lay their head down on the pillow at night, they are really happy and they feel good about it."

There will be shotgun starts for morning and afternoon play in the golf tournament tomorrow at Doublegate.
