Georgia State Patrol troopers in Cook County are searching for a man they say ran away from a traffic stop.
It happened Thursday night just north of the Lenox area on Hwy. 41.
Investigators said the suspect is C.L. Smith Jr., approximately 29 years old from the Adel area.
Troopers had pulled him over and were conducting a search of his vehicle when he ran from the scene.
Officials say they will take warrants out on Smith and suspect drugs were in the vehicle. They expect to find out more as a further search is conducted.
