Tomorrow is the 66th Annual Rose Parade but the little ones will get their time to shine on Thursday.
Starting at 7pm, the streets of Thomasville will be full of "rose buds" as they call them. The parade featuring hundreds of area children will be the highlight of the festival's kick off and has been a crowd favorite for years now.
"Parents and grandparents come in and they sit in the grand stands, it's just a lot of fun, because the children are the future of The Rose Festival, so it's their time to shine," said special events manager Felicia Brannen.
Crowds can enjoy the little ones on stands that are located throughout the downtown area, The rose parade will began at 7pm on Friday.
