Pilot okay after emergency landing

A south Georgia pilot is okay after having to make an emergency landing in Wilcox County Thursday afternoon.

Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock says Gordon Carver of Wray was flying to Pine Mountain when he issued an emergency call due to a fuel pressure problem.

Carver was attempting to land at Crisp County Airport but instead put down at a landing strip used by crop dusters in Pitts.

Carver was waiting on a mechanic to inspect his plane and planned to fly back to Douglas.
