Albany church's Easter flowers stolen

A South Albany church says they are praying for the person who stole their Easter plants from the front and side of their sanctuary.

Christ Harvest Tabernacle Baptist Church officials say they just planted the Easter flowers last week. Saturday, church members noticed they were gone.  Someone ripped them right out of the holes.

The Pastor's son calls the theft "pointless."

Brentic Richardson said "I know the Bible says a man will rob of God, but just coming by and taking some flowers. There are wild flowers growing everywhere. Why can't you just buy your own flowers. It's just sad."

Church officials say they will plant more flowers, and hope they will not be stolen.
