Police in Albany want to identify a woman they say is a person of interest in two forgery cases this week.
Investigators say she was seen at an SB&T Bank driving a newer model Chevrolet Impala. They describe the rear of the vehicle as having two stickers on it: one of a stick figure family, and the other of Betty Boop.
According to officials, the woman is a person of interest in two forgery cases committed over the past two days. The woman used a fake ID to cash fake checks which could be linked to several entering auto cases.
Police said the licence plate of the car appeared to be from Maryland, but noted that it was a stolen tag, and may not be on the car any longer.
If anyone recognizes the woman or if they have seen the vehicle, they are asked to contact the Albany Police Department or CrimeSTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
