ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Several Southwest Georgia churches didn't let the rain stop them from celebrating Easter.

The Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries organized the "Parade for Righteousness" today along Pine Avenue. The theme is "Living the Risen Life." Several churches from Southwest Georgia, Alabama and Florida participated in the parade. They also held an Easter Egg hunt for the children at Turtle Park.

"We started off on last year and we want to represent Jesus Christ in the Good Life City of Albany, GA," said Felix Revills.

"Jesus endured some suffering time for us so he wasn't gone let a little rain stop us from celebrating and bringing awareness to the community of his risen," said J.T. Prince.

The church is holding their Resurrection Service tomorrow morning at 10:30 at their location at 1506 South Slappey Boulevard.
