The 31st annual National Mayhaw Festival will not happen this weekend, due to weather concerns.
According to Veryl Garland with the Colquitt-Miller County Chamber of Commerce, the rain and flooding the area has seen posed too much of a risk to public safety.
Officials said the Chamber will meet next week to decide if the event will be rescheduled.
