Ledo Road wreck victim identified

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A collision on Ledo Road has killed 69-year-old Pamela Johnson, near Chili's and Walmart.

It happened around 1:00 Thursday afternoon. Officials said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Johnson was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier.

Crews say the crash happened when Johnson's car was hit by a tan Chevrolet Yukon, driven by Melissa Swift of Dougherty County.

The third vehicle involved was a Nissan Titan that was hit after the first two collided. The truck was driven by Shugart Lafleur of Lee County.

Two of the westbound lanes of Ledo Road were blocked.

Lee County deputies, Lee EMS and Fire, and the Georgia State Patrol responded. The GSP is handling the investigation.
