ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

More offenses of entering autos are happening in parts of Albany, according to a new report from Police. They've developed a checklist to remind drivers to clear valuables out of their cars.

Albany Police reported six incidents of entering autos happened within a one hour period Saturday in the area of Flynn Court, Hidden Court, 2300-2400 blocks of Schley Avenue and the 2700 block of Doncaster Drive.

Officers also noted that in all six incidents, all of the cars were left unlocked.

There was no immediate word of how much, if anything was taken during these incidents.

APD will give you a checklist free at the Law Enforcement center at Washington and Oglethorpe Blvd. They will start handing them out publicly soon.
