Nationwide car wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics comments on an article discussing Pepsi Max’s reality billboard at a London bus stop used to promote their product

BOHEMIA, NY / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / April 12, 2014 / JMR Graphics, a nationwide car wraps manufacturer, responds to an article discussing how Pepsi Max is pranking British bus riders by displaying unbelievable realistic sights on their augmented reality billboard screen.

According to a March 26th article from Food Beast titled “Pepsi Just Pranked a UK Bus Stop with Giant Robots, UFOs, Mutants and Tigers,” Pepsi Max is taking a different approach to promoting its drink. They have decided to place an augmented reality billboard inside a London bus stop. The billboard screen tricks viewers by showing mutant tentacles snatching pedestrians, tigers chasing people on the sidewalks, and giant robots and UFOs attacking the city. On the other side of the glass of the billboard sits a Pepsi Max advertisement.

TJ Panell, a representative from nationwide car wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics, says, “Pepsi Max’s imagination on this campaign is extraordinary. Giant monsters attacking London is sure to catch the attention of nearly all bus riders, who will then be exposed to Pepsi Max’s product advertisement. More importantly, this approach will make Pepsi Max’s product and campaign memorable.” He says, “Out of home advertising allows brands to really think outside the box and interact in unique ways with the masses.”
