THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Holy week is coming up. The Ministerial Alliance in Thomas County will hold services every day next week.

The services will be held at Disciples of Jesus Ministries on Augusta Avenue in Thomasville.

Each day will feature a different speaker. One member of the alliance says the week is important to prepare Christians for Easter.

"It puts each event into chronological order, as he prepared to make the sacrifice for the atonement of our sins and in the Christian world we celebrate holy week to remember the price that Christ paid for us," said Pastor Jeremy Rich.

The kickoff service will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Services on Monday through Good Friday will be held at 7 p.m. and an Easter sunrise service will take place at 6 a.m.
