VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

South Georgia native Phillip Phillips will be performing at Wild Adventures this weekend.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday and it is included in park admission for season pass holders. Park officials are expecting a big crowd.

"In just a few hours, this place is gonna be busier than a bee hive," Laurie Windham, Public Relations Director at Wild Adventures, said. "Of course, Phillip Phillips is from the area. We're happy to welcome him back and share in some of his successes. He's done really well."

Windham also mentioned that the park will play host to a number of other well known artists in the coming weeks and months.

"Our next concert is R5 and Fifth Harmony. We also have Kelly Pickler coming up soon. We have Billy Currington, we have Skillet returning."

Phillips is a native of Leesburg, Georgia.
