ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The grand opening celebration of the SOWEGA Council on Aging's Senior Life Enrichment Center continued with dinner and dancing.

At a ceremony this afternoon the center was named after Kay Hind who has been the council's Executive Director for more than 45-years.

"We think that it's a wonderful thing for not only Albany and it's senior citizens but for the area. Because it is a beautiful building and we plan to have lots and lots of activities here," said Kay Hind.

Two new computer training classes at the center are already filled and a flower arranging class is in the works.
