Loose tag leads to gun, drug charges

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Sheriff's Deputies find guns and drugs after a traffic stop in Crisp County.

A deputy pulled spotted a tag hanging off a car that was getting off I-75 Tuesday morning.  The officer pulled Christopher Inman of Wisconsin over on Georgia Highway 90, and found an assault rifle, shotgun, handgun, bags of marijuana, Various pills, and a digital scale.

"Once he got him stopped, he could smell marijuana. The drivers information didn't match up with some of the stories they were being told, so deputy Purvis was able to get consent to search the car."

Inman is charged with multiple drug and gun crimes.
