Lee County Emergency Management officials are closely watching levels on the Kinchafoonee Creek.
Officials say they expect the creek to crest at Pinewood Road at 16. 9 feet Thursday......which they say could close a couple of low lying roads and get in some yards, but only marginally endanger any structures.
Last year the creek crested at 15 and a half feet, forcing two road closures, but no damage to any homes.
Lee County officials say the next 24 hours will tell them more, as they will continue to closely monitor creek levels.
