ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany teen accused for beating and killing a 68-year-old man outside of a restaurant, will have his second arraignment later this afternoon, when he will learn if he'll stand trial for murder.

Andrew Gadson has four major charges against him, including the murder of Raymond Tilley.

It was less than a year ago when we first heard of Tilley, he worked at The Dinner Bell in East Albany. In August on a Tuesday morning when he was about to open up for business, he was attacked, robbed and beaten with a metal pipe.

Officials believe, then, 19-year-old Andrew Gadson was responsible. He was initially charged with aggravated assault, battery and robbery by force. But when Tilley passed away in January, five months after the attack, Gadson was then upgraded to murder charges. He has spent the last seven months in Dougherty County Jail

The arraignment is set for 1:30pm, the court will determine what course of action to take next depending on what sort of plea Gadson gives.

We will continue to follow this to bring you the latest.
