VIDALIA, GA (WTOC) -

Someone shot two people through a bedroom window, but tips and leads have been slim so far for police investigating the attack.

The shooting happened Saturday night on Vidalia's 5th Avenue. Police and EMT's rushed there after a call for help and found Nigeria Green shot in the stomach.

Moments later, Sanquinton Brown, Jr. showed up at Meadows Regional Medical Center's ER with gunshot wounds as well. The couple said they were shot through a window at Green's home.

"We have talked with neighbors, but have not gotten any leads so far," noted Maj. Roger Calloway. "The community is our eyes and ears. We can patrol the streets, but we have to rely on the community for information."

He said the police department hopes to have a reward established through Crimestoppers this week.

Specific medical information about either Green or Brown's conditions was not available. However, Calloway said both were expected to survive.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Vidalia Police at 912.537.4123.
