Tornado touches down in Irwin County

IRWIN CO., GA (WALB) -

During the tornado warnings Monday afternoon, Irwin County Deputies and Department of Transportation officials reported a tornado on the ground southwest of Ocilla.

Crews said it was in the vicinity of Hwy 319 and 5 Bridges Road. The tornado was spotted during a tornado warning of Irwin County and Coffee County that expired at 3:00 p.m.

There was no immediate damage reported.
