WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -

Folks came from all over Southwest Georgia for a two-day team roping and barrel racing event honoring Jake Williams.

23-year-old Williams died in a car accident in January. All the proceeds from this event will benefit his two-year-old daughter.

The family says they're grateful for the support of the community and the great turn out of this event.

"Jake's life can never be replaced but to have such a blessing come out of a tragedy I mean its very heart touching, and people have just come together they've donated and supported in every way that they could," says Whitney Williams.

The top ropers and barrel racers took home cash prizes and belt buckles.
