The Ware County Sheriff's office is investigating after a 10-year-old girl was shot and killed Friday afternoon.
Law enforcers arrived to the 4900 block of Jana Lane in Ware County where they found Taylor Marie Jowers on the living room floor with a gunshot wound.
Deputies say Jowers and another relative were playing with a shotgun when it accidentally discharged.
Jowers died at the scene.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday in Savannah at the GBI crime lab.
