ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Museum of Art has a new art program for kids.

At the museum kids got to learn more about creating ceramic art during Kids Ceramic Day. They're hoping to start painting and collage classes as well. Organizers say they've had a lot of requests from families for more art programs.

"We have a lot of request throughout the year for educational programs, art classes and things like that for the kids. Just due to the demand we just want to do something for the parents to get the kids in here to have a little bit of art as opposed to just once a year during the summer," said David Griffin.

The class will be held once a month. It's $25 for non-members and $20 for members. You can find more information about the classes by clicking here.
