ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You can check out some of the latest outdoor gear at Darton State College.

An outdoor expo began Friday afternoon and will continue all day Saturday at Cavalier Arena. It features everything from hunting and fishing gear to archery equipment to ATVs.

The Darton Booster Club is putting on the expo to raise money for the athletic program. Assistant Athletic Director Glenn Eames said, "We're constantly having to raise money. You know, we've got a great athletic program here, but it takes money to run it, so we have to look at ways to you know pick up where the budget doesn't allow us to go to."

The expo features fishing demonstrations, archery contests, an electronic gun gallery and introductory SCUBA dives.

The cost is $5. Children under 12 get in free.
