Experts say heavy rain could mean more tree damage

DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -

High winds and heavy rain could lead to more falling trees this weekend.

Last weekend's high winds broke many trees and limbs in south Albany.

Tree experts say many others were weakened or damaged.

Some are leaning and could easily fall with more windy conditions.

Harper Tree Service owner Lee Harper said "From the damage they have had. But if we have any more rain, they are going to come down."

Tree experts recommend checking for leaning trees around your home and have them removed.
