A 41,000 square-foot grocery store could soon open in Albany.
The Albany-Dougherty Planning Commission unanimously approved a rezoning request Friday for the southeast intersection of Gillionville Road and Westover Boulevard.
Planners say the store will feature a deli, a drive through pharmacy, and a gas station on more than 9 acres of land.
Developers have not released the name of the chain yet. City commissioners will vote on the project on April 22nd.
