    The rate increased because of seasonal factors, such as the summer job loss among non-contract school workers and temporary layoffs, primarily in manufacturing. There were 60,500 jobs in Albany in June, down by 300, or 0.5 percent, from 60,800 in May. Most of the loss came in state government and the service-related industries.More >>
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Four months after a fatalcar accident a man is now being charged.

AlexzanderMchone was driving east on Harris Road in Dougherty County when his car hit atree on December 7th.

Apassenger in the car, 23-year old Richard Stolze was killed.

"Ourinvestigation determined that Mr. Mchone was going to be charged with vehicularhomicide, failure to maintain lane, DUI less safe and possession of marijuanaless than an ounce. We took our evidence to a judge an obtained warrants," saidDetective Wertz.

Mchone wasreleased on an $8,000 bond Wednesday.
