CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -

A Columbus woman has been indicted in Chambers County, Ala. for 2nd Degree Rape.

According to the Chambers County Sheriff's Office, 39-year-old Natalie Buchanan Eldridge allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a child over the age of 12, but under the age of 16. She was a resident of Chambers County at the time.

Eldridge has been released on a $50,000 bond, and is currently pending arraignment.
